This fitting is designed to help you make a quick and efficient repair when a glue joint is leaking. It can be used to plug leaks where a 2-inch rigid or flexible pipe connects to an elbow or a straight connector.

How to use it
Examine the area of the leak on the socket. Make sure there are no raised letters or bumps on the fitting. They will have to be sanded off to use the CMP Clip-On Pipe Seal. Liberally apply glue to the area of the leak and onto the Clip-On Seal. Don't be shy with the glue ! Choose the proper sized Clip-On Seal and snap over the leaking area.
